HIRING PROCEDURES

There are several ways to gain employment with Praetorian Event Services.

1. A friend can refer you. If your friend has worked for us before and they are in good standing they may then start to refer employees. They will contact us and give us your name. We will then contact you and arrange for a phone interview. If the initial phone interview goes well and your qualifications meet our needs you may be put on the new hire list as a level 5 (or potential hire or volunteer) status and given a password to the scheduling system. It is your choice to either attend a hiring day or arrive an hour early to your tentativley scheduled shift to fill out your paperwork. If you do not arrive an hour early we will begin to call in a replacement for your shift. If you arrive late you will still be allowed to complete your paperwork and if your shift has been filled, you may either return home or wait for another shift to become vacant. So please try to attend the hiring days and you will not have to worry about having this happen.

2. Apply online. Click here to fill out the application and recieve a phone interview. Should your qualifications meet our needs you will be given a password into the system and a level 5 (potential hire or volunteer) status you may request a shift with this status and could be approved for a shift with the stipulation that you must arrive an hour early to your tentativley scheduled shift to fill out your paperwork.

3.Attend a hiring day. April 25 and June 6 are the first two hiring days of the season. Other hiring days are TBD. You can save time by applying online and downloading the official hiring paperwork, then bring the filled out paperwork to your interview. We will let you know if you are hired after you have been interviewed and your application is reviewed. You may be asked to wait on site for a decision. If you are hired you will automatically be given a password into the system and a level 4 employee (team member) status. With a level 4 status you can choose your shift and arrive on time to keep your position. You will also be given a hire date and will start your seniority that day.
